Director, director of photography and
scriptwriter of documentaries. Andrejs has directed 36 films and been a
camera man for 20 documentaries. Executive director of Latvian National
Film Center till 2008. Latvian representative in Eurimages European
co-production fund. Head of 2ANNAS jury since 2002.

DITA RIETUMA

Journalist
and film critic, author of the book “Planet Nonhollywood. 27 Faces”,
“365 Days' Films”co-author. Following cinema processes, writing reviews
and critiques, covering international cinema events, reporting from
Cannes, Berlin, Venice. Since 1987. articles have appeared in Diena,
Literatūra un Māksla, Studija, Māksla +, etc. Member of FIPRESCI jury
in international film festivals.

CHRISTOPHER HALES
United Kingdom
Specialist
in exploring the 'interactive moving image', as practitioner, educator
and researcher. His PhD "Rethinking the Interactive Movie" was
successfully completed in October 2006. Currently based in the
'SMARTlab' centre of the University of East London as a Post Doctoral
Research Fellow. His cdroms have been selected at numerous
film/multimedia festivals, and his touch-screen installation (showing a
dozen or more of his interactive films) has been presented in Seoul,
Helsinki, Warsaw, Nagoya, San Francisco and Sydney. Recent projects
include 'Cause and Effect' and an AHRB-funded research project in
Prague to rediscover the "Kinoautomat" from 1967 - the world's first
interactive movie.

ULDIS DIMIŠEVSKIS

Since
2007 Uldis Dimiševkis is an executive director of the government agency
National Film Centre. He is the head of film development and support
overseeing fund distribution and government supported projects. As a
lecturer and archivist and expert of photography was working in Canada
state Library and Archive, Depratment of Art and Photography and Queens
University, Art Department.
