The Right to Be Loud: Why Baltic Voices Are Exactly What the World Needs Now

The creative industry is hungry for fresh voices, authentic perspectives, and work that breaks formulas. But those voices often come from unexpected places – from regions the industry has been trained not to look at, from creators who've been taught to be humble about their regional identity.

The keynote argues that the right to be loud isn't about ego. It's about responsibility. When you have a distinctive voice shaped by real history, real psychology, real artistic integrity – keeping it quiet is a disservice to the work itself. The keynote will explore why Baltic creators have something the world needs, and why now is the moment to claim that visibility unapologetically. This is a conversation for everyone: creators who (don’t) need permission to be bold, and industry professionals who need to expand their listening.

The keynote is led by Simona Inta and Viktorija Cook, co-founders of Baltic Talent Agency.

Simona Inta and Viktorija Cook are co-founders of Baltic Talent Agency, the first digital agency in the region representing world-class Baltic creatives across film, fashion, and commercials. With 20+ years of experience in international film, brand strategy, and creative development, they've dedicated themselves to amplifying Baltic talent on the global stage – not through quick bookings, but through strategic, long-term partnerships. Their mission: to make Baltic creators globally respected, demanded, and seen.

The keynote will be held in English on Tuesday, April 14, at 16:00 at Kaņepes Culture Centre.

Admission to the event is free of charge and open to all.

2ANNAS Forum is organized with the support of the National Film Centre, Riga City Council and the State Culture Capital Foundation
